Anni Rowland - Campbell, Innovation and Research, Fuji Xerox Australia

Anni Rowland-Campbell joined Fuji Xerox Australia in September 2004 after nine years as Executive Director of GAMAA.  Anni started her career in the Arts working in for organisations such as the Sydney Opera House Trust, Opera Australia, The Royal Ballet, Covent Garden, and The National Theatre of Great Britain.   She then moved into the NSW public sector where she was an integral part in the creation, policy and advisory framework for the first NSW "Ministry for the Arts", as well as running her own consultancy.

Anni currently manages the "Semantic Technologies" Research Project, an ARC Funded programme being undertaken by Fuji Xerox Australia and RMIT University investigating the impact of emerging "semantic" technologies on document management systems, knowledge management and publishing

Peter Lightbody - NICTA, Intellectual Property Counsel
Peter is the IP Counsel at NICTA. He manages the IP portfolio of Australia's National ICT Centre of Excellence, NICTA, and is charged with harvesting inventions and know-how from research projects as well as preparing the IP for commercialisation. NICTA aims to create new industries in ICT and transform existing sectors such as water and transport. During his career Peter has worked in the music, TV, film and technology sectors with the common element being the transformation of 'raw' intellectual property rights into wealth.

Hamish Hawthorn - CEO, ATP Innovations
ATP Innovations, delivers commercialisation and business expertise to emerging technology businesses, helping entrepreneurs build successful high-growth companies. Hamish has over 15 years with experience in the advanced manufacturing and life sciences sectors.

Hamish is a Visiting Fellow in the Entrepreneurs in Science Program at the University of New South Wales, and lectures on entrepreneurship at the University of Sydney, the University of Technology, Sydney and the Australian National University. He is a qualified mechanical engineer with postgraduate training in business and technology.

Craig Wilson- ITL Design & Manufacturing B.ID MDIA,Vice President of Design & OEM

Craig Wilson is Vice President of Design & OEM for ITL Design & Manufacturing and has over 20 years experience in design and product development having held roles in leading industrial design consultancies in London before setting up his own industrial design business (CWP Design) in Sydney. In 2003 CWP Design became ITL Design & Manufacturing a subsidiary of ITL Limited a publicly listed medical device manufacturer.

ITL Design & Manufacturing (ITL D&M) is an Industrial design and manufacturing company that specialises in offering a complete product development and commercialisation service from conceptual design, through all stages of the development process through to engineering and into production

Ann Cummings - Director, Newcastle Pudding Lady 
Ann Cummings commenced her business career in retailing in 1976, taking her 3 retail stores to National Dealer of the Year for 3 consecutive years.
Newcastle’s Pudding Lady was established in 1978 as a home based business by Dawn Hodgetts and acquired by Ann in 2003.  The business continued to grow because of the quality of the products it manufactured.  The reputation of “The Pudding Lady” was nationally enhanced through the acquisition of key accounts such as David Jones, Myer, Innovations and Amway. 
Ann has taken Newcastle’s Pudding Lady into new and exciting arenas of gourmet food, creating a completely new product category, 2 new brands and breaking new ground along the way, not only in Australia but in export markets as well. The company has won numerous awards over the last 4 years, awards for innovation, marketing and exporting in the Gift Industry, Food Industry, and manufacturing.  Newcastle’s Pudding Lady was awarded the Hunter Business of Excellence Award – BEST OVERALL BUSINESS 200

William Aloisi - Invent Resources, Founder and Managing Director

William began the development and commercialisation of a variety of products and inventions, including his own projects in the consumer and services industry sectors. Due to the lack of support and overwhelming information regarding idea development, ‘The Ideas Man’, took on board the complex challenge of making sense of this information and developed a valuable network of professionals and founded Invent Resources.

Founding Invent Resources, William is now the company's most experienced inventor with over 10 years experience in the industry, having worked on numerous successful award winning projects from initial design and IP registration through to manufacturing and marketing worldwide

Yves Hazan, Partner, Hazan Hollander
Yves Hazan (BSc(Computer Science), LLB) is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia and partner of Hazan Hollander. Yves specialises in intellectual property, commerical law, technology and science law, and is recognised for his expertise in commercial negotiations and litigation. Key roles have included heading Australian teams in worldwide IP litigation in cluding in the patent area, and advising major IT companies.
